We asked Dan from D J Moore Loft Conversions to quote for a Velux loft conversion after viewing his impressive YouTube channel. Our loft space overlooks a large copse and was perfect to be converted into a master bedroom with commanding views. The project also included a separate dressing area and bathroom. Dan was very professional and approachable, and talked us through every step. The quotation included all plans, consents, and inspections, which went seamlessly. The whole team worked hard every day throughout the working week and were a pleasure to have in our house – a big shout out to Pat and Tyler, the heating and plumbing team, and Mark and Taylor, the electrical team. Dan set up a dedicated WA group and the team was always quick to answer any questions we had. We decided to have air-con fitted, and Dan had a great contact Ball Air Conditioning Services. We are highly delighted with our loft conversion and would wholeheartedly recommend Dan and his team every time.

A study of the drawings and a site visit from Daniel set us on the way for our dream to become a reality. We couldn’t be happier with our loft conversion. It’s a perfect new space, with master bedroom, ensuite bathroom, office, and dressing area. Dan and his team made the whole process flawless. There was minimal disruption or mess, as the team used the roof to gain access for the construction part (amazing). We were completely involved from start to finish, from looking at plans to mapping out the room sizes in the space once the floor is down. This helped us to really visualise what we wanted from our new space. Dan was around in person or via message to ask any question, no matter how silly you thought it was. We were impressed with how much of a presence Dan had throughout the whole build. The team are friendly and very helpful… totally professional. We also used Dan’s contacts for the finishing touches. There is absolutely no pressure to use them. We obtained a few different quotes for both the decorating and wardrobe fitter. Dan’s contacts are very competitive, so we decided to go with them. The quality and finish are amazing. We are so happy with the finished conversion. We highly recommend Dan and the DJ Moore team.

We’d been looking into a loft conversion for 5 years going through architects, individual builders, planning permissions, etc, etc, this just ended up with costly designs and no real confidence in the process.But then when we were about to give up we called Dan, he came around and it just became unbelievably easy.The process was fabulous, sketch within 24 hours, measured up within 2 weeks, designs 2 weeks later, all the council stuff sorted, did not have to lift a finger.

When the build started, it all happened exactly as they said it would, scaffolding, steels, building the dormer, putting in the stairs, getting us up into the loft, offering some advice on the design, completely on schedule. The team was awesome, I have to mention all I can remember Nathan, Jamie, Patrick, Tyler, Thomas, Andrew, Craig, I know there were others… simply put they were all really lovely guys, very funny, worked extremely hard and kept the place tidy every night.

We had some other adjustments to the house through them too so it was not as simple as putting a box on the top of the house! I’ve I had to give a big thanks to anyone on the build it would be Nathan, full of great ideas and if he saw you had an idea he’d make it reality in no time, no hassle brilliant stuff. Patrick’s plumbing is art….its not just pipes.

We are absolutely delighted with the result, beyond expectations, just so simple to do… just do it. Dan, you have a great team, you’re an excellent person to deal with, you made it simple. Truth be told, we miss having you all around here!

I can’t thank Dan and the team enough for the dormer loft conversion that they have created at my house. From start to finish they have been excellent with the communication, explaining every stage and putting my mind at rest with any concerns or worries that I initially had. Steve and Mario are extremely hard workers, aways turned up on time with a smile on their faces. I was amazed each day to see the changes and how quickly they transformed my unused loft space into two extra bedrooms and a shower room. It really does feel like part of the house and not a loft at all, as the design and build fit so well into the original layout of the house. I would recommend Dan and all of his team to anyone thinking about converting their loft, you may need to wait a while for a start date as they are so busy, but definitely worth the wait. We are now able to enjoy our extended house for many more years. Thank you.

Having completed an extension some years ago that took a fair amount of effort, surprises, spiralling costs, and an extremely slow finish, I was somewhat nervous starting another major modification to the house. We were recommended DJ Moore Lofts by BallAir, and we had also seen a conversation just off our road.

We contacted Dan and he offered a full service. Dan and his team designed the loft around how we wanted to use the space. We changed our mind a few times, and the team were quite happy to work with us. They even did me a CAD model as I could not vision the drawings!

We were booked in for April, but got a call in January, and it all started in February! It was a total whirlwind but Dan and his team new their trade and just got on with it. They worked with us as we moved things around the house to our timescales.

This whole experience has been fantastic! I would absolutely recommend DJ Moore Lofts.

Having had a lot of building work carried out at our property over the years, we entered into this project with trepidation. However, from the moment Steve and Mario arrived on site (on the hottest day of the year), our fears were allayed.

The entire team were so professional, friendly and helpful. Daniel responded very quickly with any queries we had at any stage and consulted with us from start to finish. We opted for a few extras due to the high standard of work and could not be happier. In fact, we will be using the plumbing team again for further renovation work next Spring! We are so glad that we chose DJMooreLofts for our conversion. From beginning to end Dan and the team could not be more helpful, professional, quick and efficient. Any messages/ questions we had were always answered within minutes, they are all kind and honest, so we were happy with the team being in our house.
Charlie our builder was exceptional, he talked us through every step everyday and made sure we were happy the whole way through.

Fantastic service. I can not recommend DJ Moore Lofts highly enough. So much more than just a loft conversion company.
Our project consisted of a complete roof replacement, with hip to gable end conversion. This created the extra space needed for an amazing primary suite at the top of our house.
In addition to this, we had a complete reconfiguration of the first floor rooms, creating a more usable space, along with a new heating system.
Dan and the team were super professional, very helpful (even with the changes we requested along the way), clean, tidy and just a great, friendly team of guys… aftercare has been amazing, too.
We are so happy with the work carried out and end result, it has transformed our home.
