About The Project
After completing a conversion on the street behind their property, this client introduced themselves to us with plans for a mammoth loft conversion. Super spacious and packed with potential, their loft was a builder’s dream! After checking out the space, our client told us they wanted it even bigger to create their ideal working-from-home setup. In our 12 years of experience, this is one of the largest dormer loft conversions in Bedford we’ve taken on.

What We Did:
With fantastic views out into the surrounding countryside, it was clear we had to make the most of the scenery. Following discussions with the client, we moved forward with a Juliet balcony and two SK19 Velux Cabrio windows. This design floods the room with natural light and takes full advantage of the beautiful location.
We’ve transformed the ceiling with a flat roof dormer, increasing the available space and giving the room an open feel. The client’s new office is spacious and calming, maximising productivity.
With all of this space, our client had complete freedom to style their office as they wished. At the back of the room, we’ve added a cosy sofa bed and luxurious en-suite bathroom, allowing our client to feel ultimate comfort, even at work.
Upon completing the project, our client said they were over the moon with the conversion, particularly the Cabrio windows. The loft has become the new largest room in the house and has completely transformed the property’s footprint. The client uses their space daily and consistently reaps the rewards of their investment.
