DJ Moore Lofts are over the moon to announce the completion of Sadie’s project!
What Is Sadie’s Project?
Sadie Jenkins is a 2-year-old girl that was born with many health complications, making everyday life hard for her and her family. Sadie has to use a tracheotomy with a tube to aid her breathing, meaning that when she was eventually discharged from hospital, she had to sleep in a makeshift bedroom in the family living room.
Sadies project was funded by Jewson, and some of the materials used were donated by its founder Addam Smith, while the labour was provided by a variety of tradespeople from across the country.
The team at DJ Moore Lofts heard Sadie’s story and wanted to do their bit to make a difference to this family’s life, so we teamed up with the band of builders to help get the job done. Of course, the beast of the east tried to cause problems for us, but we kept going and finished the job within eight days! With their new kitchen, new boiler, redecorated bedrooms, downstairs toilet, redecorated living room and garden, Sadie now has a safer place to stay and can grow up in a more comfortable relaxed environment.
