About The Project
DJ Moore lofts revisited this street in Marston Moretaine to install a Dormer loft conversion on a second house. While the house was identical to the house we previously did some work on, the brief was slightly different, and we were excited to get the job started.

What We Did:
To create some extra living space for their family, the clients were looking for an open plan master bedroom. For this to be possible, while upholding current home safety regulations, we had to keep the fire door in the existing landing from the back box room. To achieve this, we installed the stairs in this room, which allowed for the room to be open with a gallery landing.
The room boasts a 1500mm wide Juliet balcony which beautifully brightens up the space; complemented by the installation of 2 Velux roof windows on the front of the conversion. The combination of the balcony and Velux windows has resulted in a light and airy bedroom that feels fresh and spacious; this is a lovely addition to the family home.
As well as the new bedroom, we installed a stunning en-suite bathroom with a large double shower tray and a handy tiled soapbox to help keep the area organised. We also fitted a beautiful sink and toilet that are surrounded by walls of chic monochrome tiling.
We finished off the Dormer loft conversion with the ever-popular iron-grey Hardie plank cladding, which beautifully complements the white french doors and black metal railing of the Juliet balcony. The exterior of the conversion matches the charming rooms created inside and blends into the home seamlessly.
The clients were just as delighted with the new space as we were and can now enjoy a bigger, more spacious home for the family thanks to their Dormer loft conversion.
