Dormer Loft Conversion – Woburn Sands
About The Project
This loft conversion differed slightly to our previous projects, due to the property being in a Conservation Area. This meant that we had apply for planning permission, and abide by particular regulations and specifications for council approval. The client was keen for a master bedroom, with a separate wetroom/shower, and toilet. The conversion itself was a flat roof dormer conversion, with conservation style Velux windows. This conversion was a little more bespoke than some of our usual work, with the client requesting us to create a handmade head board made from reclaimed oak floorboards, coloured glass blocks in the hallway, and an additional wash basin in the actual bedroom.
