Dormer Loft Conversion, Bedfordshire

About The Project

With this loft conversion, the brief was simple. The client was looking to have two double bedrooms to create much-needed space for their growing family.

As there was an airing cupboard on the original landing, it made sense to remove this and form a new area for the stairs to raise over the existing stair case. The boiler had to be repositioned to a new airing cupboard in the loft space to make this possible. This was completed by our gas safe plumber.
The client decided to go with a smoke detector system to comply with current fire regulations. This is where a smoke detector is placed in every habitable room.
We matched the dormer tiles to the existing roof tile colour with a Redlands plain tile, along with matching UPVC windows.

The clients were extremely happy with the newly added space and were especially pleased that it was completed in under 3 weeks.
